As of: 22.05.2018

Welcome to Citizens Save Lives!
Thank you for using our services.

Our Association of Citizens has set itself the goal, in addition to the existing facilities of emergency call centres and aid organisations, to ensure that every citizen can bridge the time until the arrival of the emergency services and save lives. We want to create and publicise a nationwide and globally available defibrillator site survey and a network of trained first responders. To do this, we need a global network of people who are independent, neutral and committed and who support our common goals. The data required for this purpose is collected and processed solely for this purpose. Our privacy policy applies to the personal information collected and used by Cisali or its partners (country representatives). In general, you can use and visit our website without having to register or login.

To report a new defibrillator, the following information is required:
• Name of the place / business
• Full address including country
• category This data is necessary to clearly indicate the location on the map. No personal data is necessary here. The provision of personal data (for example the telephone number of a contact person, a photo of the defibrillator) is made on a voluntary basis and only if the person concerned agrees. The same applies to the registration of home addresses where a defibrillator is available. These locations can only be recorded and published by the owner himself and with his consent. Registration as a first responder
For registration as a first responder we need the following information:
• The country where you work as a first responder.
• The mobile number to notify the first responder in an emergency.

5. Processing data (customer and contract data)

We collect, process and use personal data only insofar as they are necessary for the establishment, content or modification of the legal relationship (inventory data). If you've created a Cisali account through the app, you can report, rectify or revoke a new defibrillator location, or register as a first responder. The inquiry is checked in the Cisali database. This is the responsibility of the respective country administrator, who only has access to data of his assigned countries.

Refusal of request: Data will be deleted immediately.
Inquiry confirmed: The data for publication will be available after synchronization in the app and on the website.

Employee agreement data secrecy
Our employees are required to comply with legal and internal data protection regulations and to protect personal data.

Origin of the Data and Responsibility

Defibrillators operators
The owner / operator (= detector) of a defibrillator enters the data himself. The responsibility lies with the detector itself. He is responsible for communicating changes to the location or the functionality.

Publicly accessible defibrillator - notification by general public
A citizen (= notifier) publishes the data of a location from which he is not the owner, but the location is publicly accessible. The responsibility lies with the detector. The entry must be made with the best of intentions and utmost care. The registrant must ensure prior to registration that the operator and / or owner of the device agrees with the publication.

Self-research Cisali
This data entry is made by self-research by Cisali. Cisali provides the website www.cisali.com and the Android and IOS version of the Cisali App as well as the data of the database used there for the public.

Cross-national data
The Cisali platform is globally available, therefore information on defibrillator sites and first responders, in case of an alert, is also used outside of your country and made available to the citizens. We work with country administrators worldwide who are responsible for their assigned countries and have no access to unpublished data outside their area of responsibility. In order to do justice to the EU-GDPR in the best possible way, the Cisali database and the server are deliberately in Germany and are protected according to current security standards.

Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts, provided by Google, for the uniform representation of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly. To do this, the browser you use must connect to Google's servers. As a result, Google learns that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a consistent and attractive presentation of our online services. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If your browser does not support web fonts, a default font will be used by your computer. We do use plug-ins of social media networks on our website and its pages (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, XING, LinkedIn, Tumblr). As a rule, you will be able to recognise these plug-ins because of the respective social media logos that appear. To warrant the protection of data on our website, we use these plug-ins only in combination with the so-called “Shariff” solution. This application prevents the plug-ins that have been integrated into our website from transferring data to the respective provider as soon as you enter our website. A direct connection to the provider's server shall not be established until you have activated the respective plug-in by clicking on the affiliated button (which indicates your consent). As soon as you activate the plug-in, the respective provider receives the information that you have visited our website with your IP address. If you are simultaneously logged into your respective social media account (e.g. Facebook), the respective provider will be able to allocate your visit to our website to your user account.
